The World Journal of Biological Psychiatry - initial Impact Factor hits 2.800
On behalf of the Editorial Board, WFSBP is pleased and honoured to inform the psychiatry community that the first ever impact factor for The World Journal of Biological Psychiatry has been announced.
The impact factor of 2.800 was achieved, which is far higher than initial expectations.
The World Journal of Biological Psychiatry is ranked 31 out of 94 journals in the field of psychiatry (Source: 2005 JCR Science Edition). This is a wonderful result, which is primarily due to the editorial policy of including reviews and/or guidelines in every issue of the Journal.
We wish to thank the Editor-in-Chief, Prof. Hans-Jürgen Möller, the entire Editorial Board and the Publisher - Taylor & Francis for their hard work and commitment, and we hope that this excellent first impact factor will also attract even more high quality and original papers in the future and thus raise the ranking.
