A Word from the President

I wish to thank the representatives of the WFSBP National Societies that have made themselves available to attend the National Presidents’ Meeting in Vienna during the ECNP congress. The meeting was very fruitful and I look forward to deepen our collaboration for the years to come.

The official website of the WFSBP Paris 2009 congress is now open. Please visit www.wfsbp-congress.org for further information. We have started to distribute the First Announcements for the WFSBP Paris 2009 Congress in Vienna during the ECNP. A download is also available on the congress website.

Today I would like to draw special attention to the WFSBP endorsed congress in Toyama 2008 (2nd WFSBP Asia-Pacific Regional Congress, 10-13 September 2008, Toyama, Japan). The congress organisers have compiled an excellent and promising First Announcement which is availalbe as download through the official WFSBP website. Please click www.wfsbp.org/fileadmin/download/Toyama1stAnnouncement.pdf for a download.

The WFSBP endorsed congress in Toyama is coming along very positively. Do not miss the opportunity to present your work and to share the recent development in our field with international renown experts.

Sincerely yours,

Siegfried Kasper, MD
WFSBP President
