A Word from the President

The scientific programme of the WFSBP 2009 Paris Congress (28 June – 2 July 2009) is rapidly taking shape. We invite you to visit the official congress website

for a download of the Third Announcement which includes details on the Symposia, Opening & Plenary Lectures, Debates, Workshops, WFSBP Treatment Guidelines Sessions and Special Lectures. I am sure you will find the programme comprehensive and highly attractive. I wish to thank the Scientific Committee for compiling a balanced programme which considers world renown experts as well as the work of young researchers.

Additionally the Call for Abstracts for Free Communications/Posters/Young Scientists’ Award Session has been announced. The submission deadline was prolonged to 28 January 2009. We would be delighted to receive your proposals. Please also encourage your colleagues to submit proposals via the congress website.

On this occasion I would like to draw your attention to the 21st Annual meeting of the Society for Light Treatment and Biological Rhythms (SLTBR), 24-27 June 2009 in Berlin. Please click the underlined for an invitation letter as well as the programme of the meeting.

Sincerely yours,

Siegfried Kasper, MD
WFSBP President
